It seems that panic and government flexing its powers is exactly what the bad guys would be looking for in agitating the electronic networks. I guess critical thought and self-sufficiency is just too complex to model for, yeah? Also: "Ravenous"? I guess the term "famine" is just too old-fashioned. Likewise "metrosexual" for "fop;" and though "pirate" is what they're looking for when they say "Outlaw," the term _has_ been perverted by its application to civil (non-criminal) offenses.
